hmmm...
Is it me, or does that photo of the flower in the upper right corner look like the same one I used in my May pitas?! Freaky! Not to mention that the photographer, Daryl R. Gibson's copyright is conveniently cut out. Definitely odd. (In related news, I once tried searching for more photos of flowers, daisies in particular (because they're cute), and all I came up were 'naked pictures of Daisy Fuentes!!!' *Sigh*)

Mash!
Augh! I was just thinking yesterday how if I knew anything about computers, it'd be cool to do a Mash program thingie! And somebody beat me to the idea! That happens to me a lot. Anyway, Mash is a fun little game we played in elementary and middle school all the time. According to my cousin Jessica, apparently my aunt Kathleen, when playing Mash once as a girl, chose my uncle Joe and got him as a husband -- and then years later this happened in real life! Cool, huh? So you never know ....

Happily Ever After
This is an excellent wedding site. It has a beautiful design, and the writing is great too. It describes how Anna and Tim fell in love, and not in a sickly-sweet way, but in a pure, loving way. The Resources section is great, with the brides opinions on things such as bridesmaids, mothers, and photographers. Even if you're not planning your own wedding, it's a great site to visit to see what you would like in your own wedding someday.

Arizona State University
I got the letter in the mail yesterday: I've been accepted! Providing that I do well on the ACT, and finish my requirements for English and Math. But I'm not taking a math this year, so I guess I'll have a deficiency in that! More in my journal.

Am I GOTH or not?
This is an amusing parody of that idiotic site Am I Hot Or Not. I can't believe people have money to waste on such stupid domains (both hosting and registration costs!), not to mention TIME to waste putting together these sites! I feel dumber just visiting either.

Real propulsion without chemical rockets!
For some odd reason, I received an invitation to join this club. That qualifies as spam, yes? Maybe I should report this to Yahoo, mwahahahahahaha......

Lucasfilm is so cool!
Lucasfilm has joined with AtomFilms to create a fan film network! Good ol' George will give copyright permission to the spoof filmmakers involved in the network to use specific audio clips, such as Darth Vader's heavy breathing and the whir of a lightsaber. This way, such awesome fan-made films like George Lucas in Love will be more available. If you haven't seen that short film, you must! It is hilarious. I saw it on the plane home from London. You can buy it from Amazon.com. It actually outsold "The Phantom Menace" on Amazon!! But if you've seen TPM, that's likely not a big surprise. Anyway, this is great news, because now we'll get to see all these hilarious spoofs!

in a past and future livelihood
I really like this journal, especially this ponderous entry. Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

The infamous Spin article...
..that gives an inaccurate portrayal of Tori Amos' fans, even to the point of falsifying information. I finally found the notorious Spin story on The Dent, a great Tori resource. I've heard about it on the forums, but hadn't found it til now. Ugh - it makes me hate journalists. And it certainly takes away any respect I had for Spin magazine. (Not that I had much to begin with - they seem to be just a Rolling Stone wannabe.)

Joyliz, hope you read this:
I hate Windows!!! I have tried numerous times to respond to your email, and I keep getting IExplore errors, even after a cold boot and everything! So I'll try again later, or tomorrow. Otherwise, we'll have to communicate by some other means. I'm on MSN Messenger, by the email addy I gave you. Or ICQ me at 14661020, but I rarely turn that on, as that is on the old computer! Okay, that's all for now. Move along people, nothing here to see.

Jezebel's Mirror
This girl loves to take pictures of herself in front of a mirror. As odd as that sounds, it's a very interesting and funny site!

help!
I decided to do a new design, so I did. The journal worked fine in the frames, so I kept it there. I took the weblog out of the frames because it wasn't working, and I thought I'd use this design, which seems to be fine. But I wish I could change all the archived pages to this design too! I don't like having to keep old images just so my pita archives will work. Grr.

Love
This is an interesting article on the origin of modern love, and associated phrases and ideas. It is a quite thorough essay, so mature audiences only!
