anaphase.com
Cool journal. Absolutely beautiful design. Why can't I make webpages like that?
Kingdomality
See what occupation you would have in the Middle Ages, and perhaps gain some insight on what job you'd be good for nowadays as well.
Puzzlemaker
Make your own word find, crossword, cryptogram, or something else really cool! Fun fun fun.
Happy Bicentennial, Library of Congress!
DotComGuy
This guy -- who legally changed his name to DotComGuy -- is going to live in a house for a whole year, and he's only allowed to go in the backyard, but he can't leave. It's an experiment to see if you can live without leaving your house, and it's pretty interesting.
cutitout.net
Remember Joey from "Full House"? The funny comedian guy? He has his own webpage. I'm viewing it now. Interesting... Go have a look.
The Universal Currency Converter
Updated every minute. See just how much $50 USD is in francs. Or whatever.
Miss Boo
This is a cool page. It's basically clothes, but it has lots of cool Flash things that are fun to play with even if you're not looking to buy anything.
Yum Pop
Sadly, I find that my idea for my company name is taken, minus my "S". *sigh* And I had already gotten the webpage for Yumpops. Killed in its conception.
Encyclopedia Mythica
This is an AWESOME encyclopedia covering the mythology of several cultures. Proof of its greatness: it actually has an article on NYX!!! (The Greek Goddess of night, and one of my first ever Internet handles.) It's hard to find stuff on Nyx; even with all the wealth of knowledge at my fingertips on the Internet, I've only come across her name four times! And it's always been very short articles too; but something's better than nothing, yes?
Andrew's Diary
He's awful cute and awful nice ;)
Boyé's "Wheel of Time" Art Gallery
Not bad, not bad t'all. ^_^
Virtual Ice Cream
Send a sundae or cone to a friend!
Artistica
Ah, there's that background. It didn't appear until after I pointed my browser directly to the image. That's weird, eh?
CoffeeCup Free FTP
The link is for you "webmasters" out there - here's a free FTP program; not a trial, you don't pay anything, and it works great. (The only thing that bugs me is that you can't upload directories - you have to make the new folder and transfer everything one at a time. Ugh. But it's free.)
And for those of you who don't even know what FTP is -- I just linked to it to have an excuse to write something here! ^_^ I just fiddled around with the colors here and "personalized" my pita. How does it look? I'm having a little trouble making my background appear; I don't know why. I'll personalize it more in the future, but I don't have the time now. Toodles!
Margeotes
Great interactive fun! LOVE the music! This is what makes the Internet better than a business card or brochure!
Minnesota National Public Radio :: A Prairie Home Companion
Every Minnesotan knows who Garrison Keillor is. If you're from Minnesota and you miss it (like me), just go here. It'll make you smile and bring back memories. If you're not from Minnesota and you don't know who Garrison Keillor is, go here and learn.
nita rhymes with pita
I am addicted to chapstick. I just call all lip balm chapstick; it's kinda like calling tissue Kleenex (which I also do. how American.) Anyway, I found a cool site from nita's pita list, it's Lip Balm Anonymous. It's very cute and original. Very often I find good links from other pitas, and I sigh and think, "What's the use of putting a link on my pita that I found on someone else's pita?????" So it's kinda pointless. But pitas are addictive.
Eeek. I'm at school right now, and I'm supposed to be done with my worksheet. Ummmm.. heehee *blush* Well, s'all for now kids. I'll be back later. They should start "Pitas Anonymous" club. Hmmmmm, maybe I should do that! Alas! An original idea! Have faith in me yet! That was scary. Peace out.
Bored.com
The ultimate pita. The mother of all weblogs. Even though it doesn't say it's a weblog anywhere, it looks suspiciously like a weblog. If you're bored, go here, and you will find tons of places to waste your time.
the homepage of Chumbumchick
'Becca and I were good friends growing up. We were neighbors, and in the summer we'd play Barbies nearly every day. Now she's all grown up (21 in December), and I'm left behind. I don't know if we're still friends, so I went to her webpage today to see if I could find the courage to send her an ICQ message. She's online right now. Should I speak to her? We never had a fight or anything; it just seems like our conversations are very AWKWARD. Anyway, she has an impecable taste in music, and a fun, crazy personality. Here's her cool site.
Sanity Test
very Very VERY FUN!!! =) According to this test, I'm 67.2727272727273 % insane.
Funnymail.com's Daily Dumb Question
This is very cute. Sometimes raunchy. (cover your eyes, kiddies!) You should visit and send Johny Ray your own dumb question. I would, but I can never think of any when pressed.
ICQ
Yay, I've gotten the background to repeat 3 times already! I'm so proud of myself. And to think that I just got this pita thingie today! ICQ is a cool messaging system that lets you know when your friends are online, and lets you chat with 'em. It was the FIRST instant messaging program, copied by AOL, Yahoo, and MSN. Those guys can't do anything original! BTW, d'y'hear about the ruling by the US Justice dept. that Microsoft is a monopoly? heehee! I'm filled with glee to see what this does to Bill Gates. Like most people, I am a hypocrite: I use Internet Explorer and Windows and all that crap, but I still would cheer if Microsoft collapsed in a heap of dust on top of Bill Gates. Giggle.
PSP Interactive Zone!
Corny title, eh? My friend sent me the URL. It's for all you PSP junkies out there. PSP = paint shop pro, for all you non-junkies. Free trial. Mine is almost out :(
Diaryland
nope, not dairyland, it's diaryland. now that I've found out how fun it is to do this weblog thingie and get instant gratification having your stuff put on the Internet immediately after clicking Done!, I may just get a diary at diary land. But I do enjoy keeping my own diary on my site <-- see left. The Diaryland artwork looks very VERY cute. I'm lured.
Oooooh you even get email at this place! yourname@diaryland.com! I'm an email addict.
scribble
this is like a diary, I think. I got an account, but haven't done anything with it. And in the email it said you had to log in within 48 hours; so I probably don't have that account anymore. Anyway, I think it's interesting. but I've discovered something similar today, called Diaryland!
Girl Wonder
I found this page a loooooooong time ago, and I keep coming back for some reason. The author doesn't seem completely friendly, but I like reading her stuff. Her pasta recipe is ... interesting. I like the little artwork; I wonder if she does it.
Spacegirl . org
This is just such a cool site. I love the artwork.
out of order
this is a really cool page. by some strange twist of fate, my friend Myssa casually told me she was editing her weblogs. "What the--?!?!" I cried. She sent me the URL [pitas.com], I went there, I saw, I conquered. Just kidding. I followed a link from the main page to a page called marmalade, and from there I found "out of order". It's a really fun page, and I love reading her dailies. Annie-Core makes me wish I were named Annie. I'm too shy to ask to be Punjab or Daddy Warbucks. (Maybe I could be Mommy Warbucks? heh heh. cough.) And the Anne-Cam is cute too. Okay, just go!
Brunching Shuttlecocks
Still not exactly sure just WHAT this page is about. I think it's one of those "e-zines". Strange, no? At least there's no subscription fee.
Lilith's Library
I know, I know; it's not considered good manners to plug your own pages. But the Library is brand spankin' new and needs members. So go visit it, and see if you'd like to join our little book club. We read a different book each month and discuss it on a message board. Fun, eh!
Aislinn's Garden
Another of those cool free graphics pages that I seem to have a penchant for, despite my never using any of their free graphics. This one's really professional, and the sets are beautiful. Very aesthetic. Is that spelling correct? Oh heck.
Full Moon Graphics
I just found this page today, and I LOVE it! This person, I think she calls herself Kitty, is really crazy and fun and creative. I was amazed from the beginning, because her index page has this cool thing where little colorful stars appear wherever your mouse is, and you can wave the cursor all over the page and the stars will follow it! Pretty nifty.
